Juggling The Balls!
All the PHD team have been on site this week and our sub-contractors are coming and going whilst they work in synchronisation and together they are able to successfully overlap the various stages of the build so far.
Now that the building is water-tight and the weather has not been too much of an issue (touch wood!) it’s great that we have been able to carry on working and prepare ourselves ahead of the next parts of the build. It’s been good opportunity to look ahead and encourage our client to finalise choices and importantly factor in any lead times we may be up against.
The full kitchen design has been finalised and detailed plans are in motion, this should be delivered to site in 3 – 4 weeks, so keep following to see the final WOW! kitchen. The granite for the kitchen and spectacular central island has been ordered and we have scheduled the template and fitting of this to slot in nicely once the kitchens have arrived. We’ve also been reaching out to all our suppliers to source our clients preferred appliances. Elsewhere in the house, the stairs have been ordered and the manufacturing process has begun. It’s certainly starting to get quite exciting as we are nearing the final fixtures and fittings. Less aesthetically pleasing we’ve also been liaising with the gas and water boards to arrange new meters and pipe laying inspections.
Building a new home from scratch is really a fine example of juggling all the balls and we are proud to say that at Pringle Heritage Developments, we are very well supported in house by all our members of staff, as well as our sub-contractors, to ensure the build is a smooth process for our clients.
